I'm an artist.
I've spent most of my life making things, and a ridiculous amount of that life fighting the tools I'm supposed to make them with.
So I started making my own.
We made pigments people said couldn't exist. The Pinkest Pink. The Blackest Black. Materials that let artists do things they couldn't do before.
When Pantone put colour behind another monthly fee, I made FREETONE and gave it away.
NIVA comes from exactly the same place.
Creative software has become incredibly clever. But somewhere along the way, we started serving the software instead of the software serving us.
Apps. Modes. Panels. Accounts. Subscriptions. Menus. Updates. Workflows.
None of that is the work.
That's why I built NIVA. To give you back the one thing creative software should never have taken from you.
